Sea Opal and Sterling Silver

A milky crystal point of Sea Opal, with a rainbow of colors shimmering inside, is wrapped in oxidized sterling silver wire.

The "stone" in this pendant appears to change color with the lighting. It mostly glows blue or pink when there is a solid background behind it. When the light shines through it, you see a beautiful golden glow.

Sea Opal is a man-made glass that is often referred to as Opalite or manufactured moonstone. It is also often used as a substitute for Opal, which is how it got it's name.
