Since I've been making so many ear cuffs lately, I figured I'd better come up with some kind of display for them. I was thinking of getting one of those silicone ears, but I wasn't sure how close the dimensions were to an actual adult human ear. So, I decided to try making something out of polymer clay. My attempt at sculpting a full ear was a complete disaster! After giving up on that, this is what I came up with. One good thing about this is that you only need one display and you still have both ears (just turn it around).
What I need to know is, does it really give you enough of a sense of what the ear cuff would look like on a real ear to convince someone to buy the ear cuff? I've posted pics of a few different styles of ear cuffs to get a better idea of how they look on the display.
Any suggestions for improvements would be greatly appreciated.
