Caged Crystal Points

A new design I'm playing with (well, sort of new). I have these crystal points that are about twice as thick as the ones I usually work with. I've been holding onto them for a couple of years because I wasn't sure how to wrap them. This is what I've come up with so far.

I still have 2 snowflake obsidian points that are about the same size. I'm trying to decide if I want to do something similar with them or maybe try to drill them and see what else I can do with them.
