A Million and One Miserable Failures

This is just one of those pieces that just did not want to be made. I had to undo different parts of it at least 10 times because I kept making one mistake after another. Then, to top it all off, after I finished all that work I find a tiny little spot on the bead I used. I don't know how I missed it when I was picking out what to use for the necklace. Oh well. It's not that noticeable. And I needed an excuse not to be able to sell this one anyway since I really wanted to keep it.

Oh, and on top of all of that, I took about 40 shots of this necklace, and this is actually the best I got (guess I'll just have to try again tomorrow for better pictures).

The ribbon for the necklace is actually a much closer shade of red to the bead than what it appears to be in the picture.
